BuddyKin is not veterinary advice and we cannot help with a medical emergency. If you think your dog is unwell or in danger, contact a veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital straight away.

Common questions

My care reminder didn't arrive

Check that notifications are enabled for BuddyKin in Settings › Notifications, and that a Focus mode isn't silencing them. Reminders are scheduled on your device, so they don't need an internet connection — but they can be delayed if the device is off. Please don't rely on BuddyKin as the only reminder for time-critical medication.

Will BuddyKin change my Photos library?

No. Finding dog photos runs on your iPhone, and keeping one saves a private copy inside BuddyKin. Your originals are never deleted or edited. Hiding a suggestion only removes it from the list.

How do I get my data out?

Open Settings in the app, then Privacy & data › Prepare data export. You'll get a file you can save or share. It's free and there is no limit on how often you can do it.

How do I delete everything?

Settings › Delete account and local data. This removes the profile, memories, records and local photo copies from your device immediately. It cannot be undone, and you don't need to contact us first.

Why do I see ads?

BuddyKin is free and supported by banner ads on the Home and Memories screens. There are no ads beside health guidance or the Ask screen. If you declined tracking, the ads you see are non-personalised. See the privacy policy for detail.
