These terms are an agreement between you and Rich System covering your use of BuddyKin. By using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
Not veterinary advice
BuddyKin provides general educational information about dog care. It is not veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified veterinarian.
Always seek the advice of a veterinarian with any question about your dog's health. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read in BuddyKin. If you believe your dog is having an emergency, contact a veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately.
Answers in the app are drawn from a curated library. Where an answer is not available, the app says so rather than offering a guess. Content may be incomplete or may not apply to your dog's particular circumstances.
Your content and your responsibility
You keep ownership of everything you put into BuddyKin. Because that content is stored on your device and not on our servers, keeping it safe is your responsibility: we cannot recover it if you delete the app, lose your device, or delete your data from within the app. Use the export feature if you want your own copy.
Care reminders are scheduled locally by iOS. Notifications can be delayed or missed for reasons outside our control, including device settings, Focus modes, and the device being off. Do not rely on BuddyKin as the only reminder for time-critical medication or treatment.
Price and advertising
BuddyKin is currently free to download and use. It is supported by banner advertising. We may introduce paid features in future; if we do, anything you have already created will remain accessible and exportable.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to interfere with the app's operation, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it in a way that breaks applicable law or Apple's App Store terms.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid disrupting access to data already on your device.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
BuddyKin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rich System is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or affects consumer rights you have that cannot be waived.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app. Your use of the app is also subject to the App Store Terms of Service.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top will change with them. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
